No elevator means hauling bags up multiple flights of stairs, which can become a workout. Plus, room acoustics make nighttime sleep tricky. noise from the street can disrupt your rest. Also, be prepared for breakfast disappointment—hot items like bacon are often gone before refills are set, leaving eggs and cold cuts as less exciting alternatives. The mold in the shower isn't a highlight either, despite attempts to remedy it.

The location of La Croix Blanche is truly unbeatable, situated right in the heart of Chamonix. My room was clean, spacious, and had ample storage.
